It all started when…
I took this photo to prepare for my world domination. Just kidding but if that ever does happen, this image is definitely making the cut.
I am a daughter of Vietnamese immigrants who chose to move to Connecticut, where I have lived for most of my life. I love the change of seasons in this part of the country and all the rich backdrops it brings for imagery (and mental health walks and runs).
My heritage has been such a huge part of my life, and my travels to Vietnam have fueled my interest in exploring the world beyond New England. I really dived into my family history a few years ago, telling my father’s immigrant story with Fujifilm and allowing me to further develop my skills as a storyteller above all else. This is by far one of the projects I hold close to my heart and the bar for which I aim to set for all my galleries I share with my clients. I learned the power of empathy, connection and listening…and developed its transitions through photos.
By combining my multi-cultural background and journalism skills, I have crafted my unique vision to capture authentic, fleeting, once-in-a-lifetime moments that are different for every individual human I work with. I find value in traditions but also wholeheartedly believe that it should be redefined to fit your individual needs…and creating emotionally driven images out of our time together in this process.
